Teras & Streak

Help

Teras logs your training. Streak tracks your habits. They share one account, and your training shows up in Streak as a second wave beside your habits.

Do I need an account?

No. Both apps work fully as a guest. An account is what lets the two apps recognise each other, so your training can appear in Streak. Sign in with Apple, Google, or a six-digit code sent to your email.

Where is my data kept?

On your phone. Your workouts, sets, routines, habits and check-ins are stored on the device and are not uploaded. The only thing sent to our server is one summary per training day — the date, your total volume, the sets and workouts you completed, and an intensity level from 0 to 4. The privacy policy sets this out in full.

I got a new phone. Where is my history?

It stays on the old phone. Because workout and habit detail is never uploaded, there is nothing on our server to restore from. Signing in on a new device brings back your account and your daily summaries, but not the individual workouts behind them.

How is the intensity level worked out?

By comparing a day against your own previous 90 days, never against anyone else. A day with no completed sets is 0. Completed sets with no weight is 1. Below your usual quarter is 1, below your usual middle is 2, below your upper quarter is 3, and above it is 4. Once a day is recorded its level stays put, so your past does not shift as you get stronger.

Why do bodyweight exercises count weight?

A pull-up moves your body, so it counts as your reps multiplied by your bodyweight plus anything you added. Each workout keeps the bodyweight it started with, so logging a new weight today never rewrites what you lifted last month.

How do I delete my account?

Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address on the account. We will delete the account and everything stored against it. To remove the data held on the phone, delete the app.

[CHECK: Apple requires apps that create accounts to offer account deletion from inside the app, not only by email. This needs building before an App Store submission.]

Something is broken

Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. The apps have no crash reporting, so a fault is invisible to us unless you report it. It helps to include your phone model, its operating system version, and what you did just before it went wrong.
